Foundational Idea, the Essence of a Project
The charger with Multiple Integrated Support and Mobile Phone Holding System, as stated registered in file No. P-202130738 of the OEPM (Spanish Patent and Trademark Office), to which we have preferred to call Top Charger as it is a shorter and simpler name – We take advantage to clarify that Top Charger is not a brand or a trade name, it is only the colloquial way that will be used to mention it -, is an innovative, practical, and simple charger that, due to its characteristics, offers high profitability in different very significant areas, both commercially as in its functionality facing the public and even regarding the reduction of CO2 to the planet.
First, it would be good to highlight that Top Charger is a single-piece object.
This new design allows the product to continue to be marketed alongside the smartphone in its usual box, using the usual packaging where the mobile phone comes with the power cable and the charger, as the size of Top Charger barely differs from the current model and separately, in its daily use, it is very convenient to carry it from one place to another as it fits in any pocket, making it very transportable. Being such a necessary item in our lives for everyday use, any improvement made to it must respect its functionality, which is precisely what Top Charger has achieved.
When Something Ordinary Becomes Extraordinary
Without a doubt, its star function, the particularity that will put it ahead in sales, is its ability to hold or support the device – smartphone, tablet, or e-book – while charging with the peace of mind that it will not fall to the ground.
All thanks to a modification or adaptation in its main body, where the star model is capable of holding a device in three different positions, as can be seen in the images of the model that appears on this website alongside other devices.
Depending on each person’s needs, with this collection, there are several models to choose from so that it fits their tastes or the type of charger that suits them best.
The different models have different fitting options ranging from the star device which has three options – as we have already mentioned -, and there are those with two holding positions or the simplest ones, which only have one position but are equally useful and necessary.
The reason they were created is to avoid the situation that we have all experienced firsthand or seen in others, which is trying to balance the device by resting it on the edge of the charger while it is plugged in, given the case that the distance from the plug to the ground can be quite considerable, which often ends in an accident that in many cases results in the screen being broken.
The other very common situation as well is having to improvisely find a surface to support during charging and that is as close as possible to the plug. Where we will use, depending on the occasion; a bar table, a reception counter, a stool, or even depending on the height of the plug with respect to the ground, sometimes it will be a bus station, other times a subway station, airport…, not to mention the lack of hygiene in all those places.
As we all know, the current charger has not undergone any design evolution since its creation, therefore it has not been able to solve the aforementioned inconveniences nor provide an extra service in line with current times. But Top Charger has easily achieved it, so it will turn the conventionalcharger into an obsolete piece, which will quickly have to disappear from the market to make way for the next generation model.
Among its other advantages, we must highlight the insignificant increase in materials for its production. The cost is negligible for the advantages it will bring and its rapid leadership in the sales ranking.
A Nod to the Planet
Another relevant point to highlight is directly related to a very current problem which is becoming the greatest challenge facing humanity currently, we refer to the impact of human activity on the environment.
Until now, the advantages and novelties of the new charger were aimed at the user providing security, comfort, the necessary originality to make it attractive to the consumer to finally be purchased…
But Top Charger does not stop there, its entry into the market will bring favorable changes in reducing the carbon footprint on the Planet directly.
As the mobile phone – tablet, e book – is only a few centimeters away from the charger while it is connected to the electrical network, the current power cable will automatically be unnecessary, whose measurements range from 1.50 cm – the oldest models and at the same time the best-selling ones – to 1.10 cm, a measurement that some brands have been marketing for a few years now. With this reduction in centimeters, the interest of companies in reducing production costs is evident, which in turn contributes directly to the conservation of the environment avoiding unnecessary waste of natural resources.
As we already know, attempts have not been very successful,the results have not met the expectation for the manufacturer economically nor for the planet regarding climate change.
For decades, no commission of experts in the field has found a solution when it comes to reducing centimeters from the power cable globally and effectively.
With Top Charger entering the scene, everything changes, on the one hand, the general public spontaneously will look among the sector’s offers for shorter cables for comfort in handling, for taking up less space, for aesthetics…, which translates into a simple solution to the problem, here the sovereign public will in some way force the brands to focus on satisfying the new demand.
This will mean the gradual disappearance of the cable measure that we know today, therefore, the brand that markets Top Charger will also be a leader in the sale of short cables worldwide – being that by association of ideas, users will want to take both items at the same time-. Let’s not forget that a reduction in the price of the cable for obvious reasons, both to produce and to sell it, will make it a perfect situation for both items to continue increasing sales.
Before finishing, we want to remember that in all this dissertation, the part corresponding to the defense of Climate Change, we think that in one way or another we have been explaining it from the first line, is undoubtedly the most important part of the entire message, achieving that one or more multinationals that have the capacity to encourage a small change in an item so necessary in the lives of each human being, is already a great victory for all of us.
Let’s remember that if innovation is the ability to turn something ordinary into extraordinary, Top Charger is the best example.
Let’s make a pact with life itself, the society that enjoys the new charger for its simplicity, its innovative capacity, the security it provides…, and in turn, the Planet that reaps its own benefits so that it can continue to enjoy us for a long time.
Additional Information
1. All models belonging to the Top Charger collection are included in the section «Claims» in its file at the OEPM, a chapter that protects possible modifications or variations in the same patent against outsiders who want to take advantage of the original idea.
2. The patent contemplates the commercialization of chargers with or without anti-slip material to guarantee a greater grip of the device being charged on the electrical network.
3. The patented holding and support system does not interfere with or is incompatible with the entry into force of the new legislation that will require at the end of 2024 in the European area a single universal USB type C connector for the entire market.
4. Its new design adapts perfectly to the different types or systems of plugs that connect to the power grid according to the country, such as Type-A (USA/EEUU), Type-B (UK), or Type-C (EU).
